Mineral Insulated RTD with Industrial (BUZ) Head

Description

Mineral insulated RTD with industrial (BUZ) head for use in
high temperature applications where close accuracy is
required.
Pt100 resistance thermometers manufactured from
mineral insulated cable are suitable for temperatures of up
to 600°C. The MIRT is housed within a 6mm or 8mm
diameter sheath which is terminated using an IP68
weather-proof (BUZ) head complete with 4 wire ceramic
terminal block or in-head transmitter.
Although shown straight, mineral insulated resistance
thermometers can be bent around formers (with a radius
of three times the probe diameter) and at angles and
shapes to suit the application. They can also be
manufactured in very long lengths.
The flip top IP68 (BUZ) weather-proof head is sealed with
an M5 screw and has an M20 cable entry. It is widely used
in industrial applications due to its robust construction and
its resistance to a number of liquids and gasses.
