Description
Type R, S & B contact block used to connect
expendable thermocouples to molten metal
instrumentation
These thermocouple connectors are specifically designed
for use with a digital pyrometer (DPP) and provide a
contact between low-cost expendable thermocouple tips
and the instrumentation. They are placed into the end of a
5/8” diameter Stainless Steel tube (dip-arm) and held in
place by a split pin. An expendable thermocouple is then
placed over the contact block and the arm is dipped into
molten metal to measure the temperature.
The connecter can be supplied with or without high
temperature fibreglass compensating cable which can be
cut to a length to suit your instrumentation.
